Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

Our client is an innovative, fast-paced, and growing company. They invented a lightweight roofing system, supplying to the construction industry, and are now the UK’s largest industry manufacturer. Some key features that make them unique:

The role

Joining this growing business, you’ll be responsible for leading the marketing department. You’ll be responsible for building the marketing strategy, overseeing the delivery of campaigns, and analysing the results. The ultimate goal of the marketing department is to drive profit and promote products and services through coordinated marketing campaigns, active research, and data development. 

We have identified a skills gap around SEO and PPC, so we are looking for someone who can bring those skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maximising return from marketing with Google via Ads and Analytics
  • Conducting research and analysing data to identify and define audiences, trends, and competitors.
  • Conceiving and developing efficient and intuitive marketing campaigns and materials
  • Organising and overseeing advertising/communication campaigns and events
  • Writing and proofreading materials for online and print campaigns
  • Monitoring and evaluating campaign performance and brand awareness/ROI.
  • Networking with suppliers, partners, and other professionals
  • Lead on the development of the brand identity. Ensuring all marketing materials adhere to brand guidelines and effectively communicate key messages to the target audience
  • Produce content and collateral that supports the sales team and their customers.
  • Collaborate with and manage agencies, third parties and press partners, including social media influencers, external photography studies, printing agencies and magazine agencies
  • Plan and attend exhibitions
  • Engage in team planning sessions and present updates on project progress

To be successful, you will…

  • Have experience in managing a team
  • Have experience in delivering Google Ads that work
  • Have good knowledge of Canva, Hootsuite, Adobe Creative Cloud, Mailchimp & Monday.com
  • Be experienced in database management
  • Have experience in event planning
  • Have a solid understanding of SEO Strategy and management
  • Be skilled in content writing
  • Have a good understanding of GDPR
  • Have excellent organisational skills
  • Have a good understanding of business challenges, competitor challenges, target audiences and marketing opportunities.
