Our client is a successful IT service company, providing Managed & Cloud IT services to SMEs in Oxfordshire. They have a growing business unit providing cyber security compliance and documentation to the payment services industry.

The role

This is an opportunity for someone who is interested in IT and cyber security to learn all things cyber security from the ground up. After training, you’ll be auditing and generating cyber security documentation for payment services companies. 

Initial duties include:

  • Learning from experienced consultants the ins and outs of existing IT security templates and supporting in document generation
  • Sitting in on audit and consultation calls with customers

After training:

  • Manage the cyber security audit process and generate and create compliance documentation
  • GDPR and compliance support
  • Some auxiliary work – answering IT support calls and assisting with IT projects
  • Assisting in developing the cyber security business
  • Recruiting a wider team, including cyber security consultants and penetration testers

To be successful, you will…

…ideally have 1-2 years’ experience in IT support

…have and IT or cyber security qualification

…have knowledge of GDPR

…have a genuine interest in IT

…have an ability and eagerness to learn

…have great attention to detail and be someone who dots the I’s and crosses the T’s

…have strong written English
