Our client is a successful eCommerce business in Banbury. The brand is dedicated to online retail for the construction market, providing tools, materials and equipment to 20,000 ‘DIYers’, and tradespeople per year.

The company is set to become the Amazon of construction supplies.

 

The role

You’ll work closely with the Buying and Marketing teams to assist with product price analysis and consumer behaviour analysis. Your main objectives will be to ensure that products are profitable and the marketing team is promoting the right products to the right people. Duties include:

• Understanding product pricing lists provided by suppliers
• Researching product retail prices in the current market via catalogues and competitor websites
• Suggesting retail prices for products while ensuring profitability
• Conducting price reviews with existing suppliers and identifying opportunities to lower them
• Ensuring the quality of general technical product data and product imagery provided by suppliers
• Sourcing new suppliers
• Building relationships with suppliers via email and telephone
• Conducting consumer behaviour analysis to identify trends
• Liaising with the marketing team to suggest which products to promote based on your findings
