The role

You’ll be responsible for driving profitability through sound financial guidance and active contribution to the decision-making processes, with the objective of helping to drive better business performance. Responsibilities include:

• Ensure timely and accurate provision of monthly financial and management information & analysis to the Board in support of decision-making processes for the Group Business Units.
• Communicate operational variances and root causes accurately to management
• Monthly long term cash forecasting
• Ensure KPIs follow current definitions where applicable
• Assist in developing business cases for proposed initiatives
• Provide the business partner link between Finance and Operations.
• Perform monthly on and off-balance sheet reconciliations
• Coordinate and contribute to the long-term business planning, annual budgets and rolling forecast process
• Assist in the development of business cases and preparation of Capital Expenditure Requests
• Ensure the accuracy of the Fixed Asset Register through regular verification audits
• Atol returns and Accountants reports
• Audit pack preparation for a number of entities

 

The package

• £30,000 – 35,000 annual salary
• A monetary bonus system, quarterly, bi-annually and annually (approx. 10-15% of your salary)
• Commitment to training and development - you'll receive an allocated training budget which can be spent on courses, exhibitions, talks, etc.

To be successful, you will…

…ideally be CIMA or ACA qualified, however, part qualified will be considered

…have excellent communication skills (written and verbal), enabling an excellent rapport with the internal team and clients
